.NET 4.0

Check Control Panel, Programs or Add/Remove Programs for MS .Net4.0 full install:

If not there download from Microsoft and install it. (If this Client ran Agility v4.5.x or higher, it will already have .Net4.0 installed)

Agility/CQCS/Progress CLIENTS

Run:  K:\Agility\Prod\scripts\Client Install\setup.exe

Next

Yes

Choose to Install: Progress NetSetup and OCX/DLL, Next

Uncheck the Silent Install, Next

Leave both checked, Next

Next

INTERACTIVE PROGRESS OPENEDGE 11.7 SHARED NETWORK INSTALLATION

You will see Agility Client and Progress install messages, then this screen:

Next

Choose Yes, Next

Hit Browse and go to K:\DLC117WRK, click OK, then click Install

You might need to enter \\win-ctiqsqqmp2h\agility\DLC117WRK

If you get "Replace Registry Key" prompts like this:

Answer No to all that may pop up (this is what causes our Silent install to fail)

OK

FINISH AGILITY CLIENT INSTALL WIZARD

No and Finish.

Check your Start Menu, All Programs for "OpenEdge 11.7 Shared Network Installation", this indicates a successful Progress Install.

NOTE: it is OK to see other, older versions of OpenEdge on your list of Installed Programs, they are from previous versions of Agility.

If it is not there, reboot the PC and run:

K:\DLC116\netsetup\setup.exe

Follow thru the prompts, same as the "INTERACTIVE PROGRESS OPENEDGE 11.6 SHARED NETWORK INSTALLATION" section.
